HYDRessence
A new extraction process, unique to TRUessence, makes it possible to extract every active ingredient from a given plant into a water-soluble liquid we refer to as HYDRessence. A HYDRessence contains some essential oils, and it also contains all the water-soluble phytonutrients and antioxidants that do not distill out as they do when essential oils are processed by steam distillation.
HYDRessences are created in a two-step process that first uses Supercritical CO2 extraction (no heat – no chemicals) to extract all the elements of the plant, both water and oil-soluble. A second part of the process, called Aqueous Molecular Processing (AMP) is then used to make the entire extract water-soluble.
This end product is referred to as a whole plant concentrate, or plant life concentrate - because it contains every active ingredient of the plant. Thus, by using HYDRessences along with essential oils one can take full advantage of every phytonutrient the plant has to offer, both water-soluble and oil-soluble.
HYDRessences are easily taken internally by mixing with water, juice or smoothies, or used in food preparation. |
